PPA - 7041 - LV

Phenalkamine. Acts as a mannich based epoxy hardener or curing agent. It is a reaction product of distilled cashew nutshell liquid and polyamine. Very good compatibility with epoxy resin based on bis - phenol A, bis - phenol F as well as novolacs. Has excellent rapid cure even at low temperatures, excellent curing under humid as well as damp conditions and superior corrosion resistance. Also has a very good flexibility, workable pot life, non critical mixing ratios and good chemical, solvent as well as water resistance. Used in medium to high solid coatings, surface tolerant primers for metallic substrate, tank lining, construction and industrial, flooring as well as marine coatings applications.
