Borchi® Coll 20 M

Amorphous silicic acid (30%) in aqueous solution. Acts as an anti-blocking agent/anti-settling agent. Improves blocking resistance, through-drying and final film hardness making the film dirt-repellant. Provides improved brushability, increased hiding power and ability to withstand high temperatures. Offers increased whiteness-blocking-, water-, alcohol- and corrosion resistance. It reduces surface tack and the tendency towards under-rusting. It is a colloidal dispersion of silica particles. Exhibits improved adhesion to wood, plastic and metal surfaces. It is particularly suitable for silk-finish and gloss emulsion paints based based on waterborne isocyanate-modified alkyd resins. Also, applicable for water-borne paints (physically or oxidatively dried) based on modified linseed oil alkyds. It complies with FDA.
