NanoArc® Aluminum Oxide

Aluminum oxide nano powder. Acts as a scratch resistant. It provides scratch resistance without negatively impacting transparency or gloss. Offers resistance to scuffing, marring, rub-off, light scratching, and other damage to film surfaces. Even at low concentrations, it improves gloss retention, without degrading the appearance of the coating, reduction of gloss, or effect on mechanical properties. This improves all types of hard surfaces from light wear and greatly benefits the cosmetic appearance. It has 100% crystalline, non-porous, non-agglomerated particles and is available in five mean particles sizes (20nm, 40nm, 150nm, 250nm and 800nm). Used in wood and electronic coatings (thin transparent radiation cured coatings).
