BLS® 5411

Benzotriazole. Acts as an benzotriazole based ultraviolet light absorber (UVA) in coatings (particularly thermo sets where low volatility is a concern). Provides good light stability for plastics, polymers (polyesters, polyvinyl chlorides, styrenics, acrylics, polycarbonates and polyvinyl butyral) and organic pigments. Offers low color contribution, low volatility and very good solubility. Exhibits high degree of photostability. Gives strong absorption of UV radiation in the 300-400nm range.
