BLS® 1328

Benzotriazole. Acts as an ultraviolet light absorber (UVA) in coatings. Provides good light stability for plastics, other organic polymers and organic pigments. Offers strong UV absorption, low color contribution, high solubility and moderately low volatility. Exhibits low initial color, very good solubility in urethane solvents and non-reactivivity and no effect on the cured properties of the coating while protecting against loss of gloss. Provides good extraction resistance. Used for applications like automotive coatings, protective coatings, and industrial coatings.
