Polymeric ethoxylaed. Acts as a levelling agent and wetting agent. Provides improved viscosity control properties. It is a non-ionic fluorosurfactant. Due to its extremely low surface tension, it is more efficient than hydrocarbon as well as silicone surfactants and can be used for wetting surfaces which are impossible to wet out. Also due to the presence of the fluorinated chain, it is more stable (thermally and chemically) and fit for harsh as well as extreme conditions than hydrocarbon surfactants. It reduces orange peel effect. Exhibits high flash point, high thermal stability and low foaming. It improves anti-fogging, anti-corrosion, emulsifying and spreading properties. Used for water-borne as well as solvent-borne paints, graphic arts and varnishes applications. Its typical dosage ranges from 0.1-0.3%.
