GUARD DOG™ UV9 by M Chemical is 2-Hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone. Acts as a UV light stabilizer. It has exceptionally strong and broad-range of UV absorption properties (UVA 315-400 nm and UVB 290-314 nm) throughout the UV spectrum. It is highly effective with minimal color contribution. It is freely soluble in most organic solvents and insoluble in water. GUARD DOG™ UV9 possesses low volatile component. Recommended dosage rate lies within 0.1-0.5% in total polymer. Compliant with food contact approval in semi-rigid, rigid and modified acrylic plastics.
