It acts as a hyperdispersant. Exhibits outstanding dispersion, pigment stabilization, strong flocculation resistance and color stability. Provides improved color development, increased jet-ness, reduced haze and higher gloss. Requires less grinding resin in the millbase, thereby reducing viscosity and enabling even higher pigment loading in the colorant. Possesses significant cost savings in labor and materials. Possesses compatibility with organic and inorganic pigments in resin-free and resin-containing solvent borne colorants. Offers reduced opportunity for operator error. Develops coatings that meet the high performance demands of OEM specifications. Recommended to be compatible with nitrocellulose resin. Highly recommended to be compatible with alkyd, acrylic, epoxy, urethane and CAB resins. Applications include industrial coatings. Recommended dosage is 2.0 to 2.5 mg/m2 active dispersant for resin-containing formulations and up to 4mg/m2 for resin-free formulations.
