SpeedCure 500

SpeedCure 500 by Lambson (Sartomer) is a eutectic liquid mixture of 1-hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone (45.0-55.0% Speedcure 84) and benzophenone (45.0 – 55.0% Speedcure BP) (type one and a type two photoinitiator). Acts as a Type I photoinitiator. It initiates photo-polymerization of chemically unsaturated pre-polymers, e.g. acrylates – in combination with mono- and multifunctional monomers. Offers surface and depth cure. Exhibits low viscosity and low yellowing. It is a colorless to slightly yellow liquid. Suitable to be used for dispersion in water based UV formulations. SpeedCure 500 is used clear coatings, wood lacquers and printing inks.
