DISPARLON® PFA-231

Pre-activated amide is a thixotropic agent in paste form consisting of a specially prepared amide wax activated in aromatic free solvent. It is easily incorporated into a variety of vehicles and/or solvent and develops exceptionally strong and long-term retained thixotropic structure. Possesses strong and persistent anti-sagging/settling properties. It is non-seeding, weather resistance and has no effect on gloss. It improves orientation of metal pigments and is compatible with wide range of solvents and vehicles. The best recommended incorporation method is to prepare the master-batch. It can cause poor recoat ability when used in forced dry or baking oil based paints, oil modified alkyds such as Melamine alkyd, therefore it is not recommended for use in these systems. Use level is 1-5% by weight.
