Lewis acid catalyst that is stable in the presence of water. Is a salt of a strong acid and can catalyze the reaction of epoxy resins, ring opening of cyclic ether groups and polymerization of monomers sensitive to cationic polymerization. This catalyst will catalyze most acid curing resins. Offers improved water and salt spray resistance.
