Based on calcium compounds. Acts as a corrosion inhibitor for iron and steel coatings, useable in water as well as solvent based systems. There is no tox labelling, this makes it easy and safe in handling as well as for the environment. Can be used alone, e.g. in transparent coatings or in combination with corrosion inhibition pigments like zinc phosphate.
