TEGO® Wet 285

TEGO® Wet 285 by Evonik is a very high molecular weight substrate wetting and anti-crater agent. It results in a particularly low tendency to migrate. This prevents the substances from penetrating the packaging and reaching the food. Suggested for non-absorbent, water-borne, clear coat and pigmented substrates as well as for primer/ basecoat, topcoat lacquer coat. It is also used in printing inks and overprint varnishes. It is partially suitable for solvent-borne systems. It is specifically developed for printing on food packaging. It is listed on AICS, DSL, ECL, EINECS, ENCS, IECSC, PICCS, TSCA, NZIOC and TCSI chemical inventories. It is also listed on the A lists of the Swiss Ordinance 817.023.21, Annex 6. Recommended dosage level of Tego® Wet 285 is 0.1-1.0%.
