TEGO® Foamex 26 by Evonik is a formulation of polyether siloxanes and organic polymers, containing fumed silica. Acts as a defoamer. It should be added to the grinding stage and letdown stage. Suitable for ecolabel compliant formulations. It helps to prevent micro- and macro-foam. It is applied by brush/roller application and airless spraying. Recommended dosage level of TEGO® Foamex 26 is 0.05-0.5%. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
