Surfynol® 82

Surfynol® 82 by Evonik is a dimethyl octyne diol-based non-foaming wetting agent. It possesses reduction of static surface tension and dynamic surface tension. It provides substrate wetting, anti-creator effect, flow promotion and defoaming. It can be volatized without degrading when heated to its boiling point. It is suitable for waterborne, pigmented coatings, clear coatings and partly suitable for 2-pack 100% and solventborne. Surfynol® 82 is used in printing inks and flexographic inks. Recommended addition level is 0.1-4%.
