Dynasylan® GLYMO

Dynasylan® GLYMO by Evonik acts as an adhesion promoter, crosslinking agent and surface modifier. It is a bifunctional organosilane with a reactive organic epoxide and hydrolyzable inorganic methoxysilyl groups. It provides improved moisture- & corrosion resistance, non-yellowing, filler dispersion, higher filler loading as well as rheological behavior like viscosity reduction & newtonian behavior. It also offers improved mechanical properties such as flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength & modulus of elasticity as well as improved electrical properties such as dielectric constant & volume resistivity. Dynasylan® GLYMO is also used as a primer in paints & coatings for improving adhesion to the substrate, especially glass and metal. It is suitable for polymers such as epoxies, phenolics, polyurethanes, PVAC, acrylates & polysulfides. It is REACH registered and has a shelf life of minimum 12 months.
