Non-ionic surfactant. It acts as a low-foaming, solvent-free and alkyl phenol ethoxylate-free additive for pigment and substrate wetting. It exhibits excellent surface tension reduction characteristics, improves freeze-thaw stability of acrylic systems and is also excellent oil in water emulsifier. It is used alone or in combination with an anionic surfactant. It is a cost-effective surfactant which is a low odor, waxy solid at room temperature and environmentally biodegradable. It is used in architectural and industrial coatings, pigment synthesis, dispersion and in inks. It may be used in compliance with various FDA regulations.
