Carbowet® 100

Carbowet® 100 by Evonik is non-ionic APEO free, solvent-free surfactant. Acts as a cost-effective pigment/surface wetting agent for water based decorative coatings. Possesses very good compatibility with associative thickeners and improves their efficacy. Provides rapid surface wetting and low foam under dynamic conditions such as grinding and coating application. Shows very good color compatibility and improved durability of the coating. Carbowet® 100 offers dynamic surface tension reduction for improved wetting on pigments and poorly prepared surfaces. Gives improved grinding conditions by reducing speed, temperature and time, allowing energy cost saving. Exhibits no negative effect on dry time, block resistance, gloss or opacity with usage level of 0.2-6%.
