Ancamine® 2579 by Evonik acts as a curing agent for use with liquid epoxy resins in two-package formulations. It is a modified cycloaliphatic amine. It yields formulations with low color and very good color stability. It offers best-in-class yellowing resistance. It provides good resistance to chemicals, carbamation and water spotting. Used in high-solids and solvent-free coatings, and in industrial flooring applications. Recommended dosage level of Ancamine® 2579 is 60 phr. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
