ANCAMINE® 2459

Ancamine® 2459 by Evonik acts as a curing agent for low volatile organic compound (VOC) coatings. It is a low viscosity ketimine. Offers extended pot life in high-solids coatings. Provides high gloss, and low blush films. Coatings based on this curing agent, shows the lowest tendency to blush when applied under conditions of high humidity and low temperatures (55-60°F). It combines with other curing agents to lower viscosity and extend the pot life of certain formulations. Used in high solids or low VOC maintenance and marine coatings, high-gloss, tile-like finishes used in lavatories or laboratories, and in industrial flooring applications. Ancamine® 2459 has a shelf life of 12 months with a dosage level of 54 phr.
