AIRASE® 5655 Defoamer

AIRASE® 5655 Defoamer by Evonik is a very compatible defoamer concentrate based on polyether siloxane technology. It does not contain added mineral oils, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) or alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEs). It is designed to control and eliminate foam without generating surface defects in water-based applications. Suitable for low-VOC formulations. Exhibits mild defoaming with long term defoaming stability, excellent compatibility and ease of incorporation. Applicable for overprint varnishes, coatings and flexogravure printing inks. Complies with US FDA 21CFR 175.105, US FDA 21CFR 175.320, US FDA 21CFR 176.170, US FDA 21CFR 176.180, US FDA 21CFR 176.210 and swiss ordinance annex 10, part A of lists I-V. Also conforms to nestle guidance note on packaging inks, Japan (not on the negative list for printing inks) and China GB9685-2016 regulations. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.5 to 1 % of total formulation weight. Shelf life of AIRASE® 5655 Defoamer is 24 months.
