AEROSIL® VP RS 92

AEROSIL® VP RS 92 by Evonik is a finer fraction, easy to disperse (E2D) fumed silica hydrophobized with DDS (dimethyldichlorosilane). Provides the possibility of combining wetting and dispersion into one process step in the dissolver. Exhibits good efficiency and optical characteristics. The viscosity curves at high and low shear rates are identical within the key range of rising viscosity. It reduces machine usage, processing time, cleaning time, production losses and cost. AEROSIL® VP RS 92 is designed for the formulation of paints & colored coatings and varnish applications. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
