Celatom® MW-27

Celatom® MW-27 is a flux-calcinated diatomaceous earth by EP Minerals. Acts as a pigment extender and flatting agent. Controls the gloss and sheen, extends primary pigments. Adds bulk and strength, increases the permeability as well as enhances the coating adhesion. It will extend expensive pigments and will reduce costs without sacrificing quality. Increased permeability allows the paint vehicle to rapidly volatilize so the paint dries quickly and uniformly. It also increases the coating durability and toughness. Other advantages of Celatom® MW-27 include improved sanding properties, better touch-up properties, increased night reflectivity in traffic paints and mechanical "tooth" for improved adhesion of subsequent coats.
