Thixcin® GR

Thixcin® GR by Elementis is non-discoloring, inorganically modified derivative of castor oil-based rheological additive for solvent-based systems. Offers reduced tendency for lumping and easy dispersion. Provides viscosity, thixotropy and sag control without impairing flow and leveling, and pigment suspension. Gives very good package stability. Applications include solvent-free epoxy systems, architectural finishes, stains, gelcoats and surfacers based on unsaturated polyesters and underbody coatings. The typical use level of Thixcin® GR is 0.4-1.5% by weight. It has a shelf life of 4 years from the date of manufacture.
