RHEOLATE® 678

Solvent-free, APE-free, tin-free, polyether urea polyurethane (HEUR). Acts as an associative rheology modifier designed for use in waterborne paints based on latex systems. Provides superior thickening efficiency in both the high- and mid-shear rate ranges, and in-can viscosity. Offers good brush drag, effective flow and leveling control, very good color acceptance and stability. Exhibits low odor, easy incorporation, and balanced mid- and high-shear flow. Enhances film build. Reduces spattering during roller application. Shows compatibility with other rheological additives. Used for applications like gloss and satin gloss latex paints, latex paints for interior and exterior applications based on a wide variety of binders, water-reducible paints, and water-borne ink systems.
