RHEOLATE® 216

Non-spattering, non-misting, pH insensitive and independent, VOC-free polyether urea polyurethane polymer. Acts as an associative thickener for VOC-free waterborne coatings. Provides highly efficient thickening at low- to medium-shear rates and shear-thinning viscosity. Offers very good high-shear application performances i.e. spray, brush, roller, blade. Ideally suited for coatings applied to pH-sensitive substrates such as wood veneers. Does not impair gloss and levelling. Offers good flow and levelling, and good sag resistance. Proves to be cost-effective. Used for applications like industrial topcoats and primers, furniture and wood lacquers, maintenance paints, OEM topcoats and primer paints, metal decorative finishes, vehicle component lacquer, wood care products, high PVC matt and contractor matt and semi-gloss decorative coatings, and refractory coatings.
