RHEOLATE® 175 by Elementis is an acrylic emulsion in water. It acts as a rheological agent. It is a cost effective, easy -to-use hydrophobically modified alkali-swellable emulsion (HASE). It is free from APEO (alkyl phenol ethoxylate) and solvents. Available as a milky white liquid.

Provides excellent mid- to high-shear viscosity build, excellent film build, levelling, and resistance to roller spatter in interior matt and satin finishes.
It complies with ISO 9001 / ISO 9002 certificates and TSCA (United States Toxic Substances Control Act Section 8(b) Inventory), DSL (Canadian Domestic Substances List), REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals), EINECS, IECSC, NZIoC and NECI.
The typical levels of use are 0.5 % to 2.0 % (as delivered) by weight in paints or inks.
RHEOLATE® 175 has a shelf life of 2 years.
