NUOSPERSE® 3200

NUOSPERSE® 3200 by Elementis is based on hydrophobic polymers emulsified in water. Acts as a humectant. It is a VOC- and APEO-free product available as milky white liquid. Offers an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional organic co-solvents such as ethylene glycol or (poly) propylene glycol (these solvents primarily function as humectants). Prevents rapid drying of pigment concentrates in production and tinting machines. Also stabilizes viscosity of tinted paints and has negligible influence on water resistance properties of paints. Exhibits excellent water- & scrub resistance, reduction in water spotting and reduction in caking of colorants. Stabilizes pigment dispersions promoting excellent storage stability. Suitable for aqueous, waterborne, VOC compliant colorants for decorative paints & coatings. Typical use levels are 5-15% based on the total weight of the colorant (with hydrophilic pigments, it can be typically added before the grinding stage). NUOSPERSE® 3200 by Elementis has a shelf life of 2 (two) years from the date of manufacture.
