Dapro® DF 880

Dapro® DF 880 by Elementis is a silicone-free defoamer based on metallic salt of fatty acid. It offers foam suppression and rapid bubble breaking in applied wet films. It can be used as an air release additive to prevent the entrapment of air during processing steps such as grinding, stirring and pumping. It is easy to incorporate and provides good storage stability. Dapro® DF 880 is suitable for inks and for waterborne architectural-, can- & industrial coatings. The recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.6% based on total formulation. It has a shelf life of 4 years. It complies with various FDA clearances.
