Bentone® HD

Bentone® HD by Elementis acts as a rheological additive for waterborne systems. It is highly beneficiated, hyperdispersible powdered hectorite (smectite) clay. It offers very good pigment suspension and sprayability. It provides good spatter resistance, and superior syneresis control.

It exhibits diminished post thickening, and low dispersion energy for complete activation.
It imparts high concentration pregels which simplify paint manufacture.
Bentone® HD is used for applications like architectural (deco) latex paints, inks and maintenance coatings.
Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1%.
It has a shelf life of 4 years.
