XIAMETER™ OFS-6300 Silane

XIAMETER™ OFS-6300 Silane by Dow is a 99% active vinyltrimethoxysilane. Acts as an adhesion promoter, coupling and cross-linking agent. It forms siloxane crosslinks via moisture cure and bonds with inorganic surfaces through alkoxysilane groups. It provides coupling between inorganic surfaces (such as clay, glass, etc.) and organic rubber and plastic. It shows moisture crosslinking sites when grafted into polyethylene polymer backbone. It is compatible with acrylic, alkyd, epoxy and polyurethane binder systems. XIAMETER™ OFS-6300 Silane is suitable for UV curable and solventborne coatings. Recommended usage level is 0.05-1.0%. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
