XIAMETER™ OFS-6040 Silane

XIAMETER™ OFS-6040 Silane by Dow is a 99% active glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane. Acts as an adhesion promoter and coupling agent. Suitable for pigment treatment in waterborne and solvent-borne coatings.

Offers increased composite wet and dry tensile, flexural and compressive strength and modulus.
Shows better appearance, filler wet-out, dispersion, lower viscosity of filled liquid resins, and improved processability.
Compatible with acrylic, alkyd, amine, epoxy, polyurethane, and vinyl binder systems.
The recommended usage level is 0.05-3.0%.
XIAMETER™ OFS-6040 Silane complies with the FDA 177.1390 regulation.
