DOWSIL™ 902H Resin

DOWSIL™ 902H Resin by Dow is a non-ionic silicone resin. Acts as a water repellent and hydrophobing agent designed for water-borne architectural coating. It is a multi-functional, low viscosity emulsion. Compatible with acrylic resins. It is easy to incorporate and contains low volatiles. Provides excellent water vapor permeability and UV resistance. Exhibits good binding properties for filler & pigments and enhanced water beading effect. Offers increased resistance to blistering, cracking and peeling. Shows low impact on total VOC of formulated paints. Recommended dosage level of DOWSIL™ 902H Resin is 6-10%. It has a shelf life of 12 months at <40°C.
