DOWSIL™ 8621 Additive

DOWSIL™ 8621 Additive by Dow is a fluorosilicone resin supplied at 5% active concentration. Acts as a defoamer/ anti-foaming agent. Designed for solvent-based and UV radiation curable coatings. It can perform at low concentrations and low temperature without producing any surface defects. Used in 1K silicone acrylic paint for roof, acrylic non-aqueous dispersion paint and alkyd paint. DOWSIL™ 8621 Additive is effective at concentration ranging from 0.1-1.0 wt.%.
