DOWSIL™ 7 Additive

DOWSIL™ 7 Additive by Dow is a fluorosilicone. Acts as a foam control agent. Provides leveling/wetting aid in solvent-based coatings and ink systems. Can be added during the grind, let down or be post-added. Used in screen printing, flexographic, and gravure inks. Recommended usage levels of DOWSIL™ 7 Additive in solvent-based wood coating is 0.05-0.1%, in solvent-based industrial coating add 0.05-0.1%, in solvent-based paint add 0.1-0.2%.
