DOWSIL™ 62 Additive

DOWSIL™ 62 Additive by Dow is a water-based silicone antifoaming agent. Provides highly effective and long-lasting foam control and has a very low tendency to affect coating gloss. It is readily dispersible. Used in inks and coatings applications. Recommended usage levels include 0.5 to 2.0 weight percent or as low as 0.05 to 0.1 weight percent, based upon total formulation. It can be added during the grind, let down or be post-added. DOWSIL™ 62 Additive complies with FDA Regulations 21 CFR 175.105 and 21 CFR 176.210.
