DOWSIL™ 14 Additive

DOWSIL™ 14 Additive by Dow is a reactive silicone glycol surfactant with carbinol functionality in isopropanol. Used to provide slip, leveling and mar resistance in water- and solvent-based industrial applications. Offers reduced coefficient of friction. DOWSIL™ 14 Additive shows compatibility with acrylic, alkyd, epoxy, polyester and polyurethane. It is effective in low concentrations. It has a shelf life of 30 months. It is generally effective at concentrations ranging from 0.05–2.0 weight percent, based upon total formulation.
