DOWSIL™ 100F Additive

DOWSIL™ 100F Additive by Dow is a fluorosilicone (1%) in diisobutyl ketone. Acts as a defoaming agent. It exhibits good surface appearance even after long-term storage. Provides efficient foam control and anti-fouling. Possesses high efficiency, effectiveness at very low use levels and in-can stability for continued performance even after long-term storage. It is applicable for solvent-borne and solvent-less radiation cure coatings and inks. Shows gloss enhancement, mar resistance, slip and impact deadening features. Offers feel and touch characteristics. Allows UV, heat, temperature and water resistance. Does not affect recoatability. It does not cause severe surface defects in the applied coating and gloss change or haze in the coating finish. It is compatible with solvent-borne acrylic, alkyd, epoxy, polyester, polyurethane and radiation-curable acrylate. DOWSIL™ 100F Additive is used in inks & OPVS and architectural wall, wood, flooring, automotive OEM and other industrial coatings. It is added upto 0.7% by weight into coating formulations. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
