Dioctyl adipate (adipic acid ester of 2-ethylhexyl alcohol). Acts as a plasticizer. It is a cost-effective, monomeric ester that is clear liquid in appearance. Imparts excellent low-temperature flexibility and very good heat- & light stability. Compatible with PVC (polyvinyl chloride), CR (chlorinated rubber), NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) with 30% & 50% ACN (acetonitrile), SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber) and NR (natural rubbers). Suitable for surface coatings. Complies with REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals).
