Deuteron® VT 856

Deuteron® VT 856 by Deuteron is an anionic heteropolysaccharide (Xanthan Gum) in 1-ethoy-2-propanole, stabilized. Acts as a thickening agent and stabilizer. Shows high pseudo-plasticity, i.e. the viscosity lowers, if the shearing stress increases. prevents a deposition of the pigments and fillers as well as a separation of the liquid phase during storage. Is compatible with most binders and thickeners which are customary in the paint industry. Deuteron® VT 856 is used for aqueous systems, such as dispersion paint, glue, dispersion plaster, water-dilutable lacquer, printing inks, silicate paint, aqueous pigment/filler preparations. Especially well suited for the building and do-it-yourself sectors.
