Bayhydur® XP 7165 by Covestro is hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Acts as a solvent-free, water-dispersible crosslinking agent for two-component waterborne polyurethane coatings. Exhibits coatings possessing good gloss, chemical resistance, and good flexibility while maintaining film hardness. Bayhydur® XP 7165 is suitable for industrial finishing, special purpose substrates, and wood furniture.
