Coapur™ 3020

Coapur™ 3020 by Coatex (Arkema Group) is a non-ionic, solvent-free, low odor, associative rheology modifier. Provides a pure Newtonian rheology to water-borne systems. It allows to adjust selectively high shear viscosities and thus ensures excellent film build, spatter resistance and leveling together with low dosage and flexibility of use. Exhibits interesting features as co-thickener, thanks to a good compatibility with most of the low shear effective thickeners based on acrylic, polyurethane and cellulosic structures. Offers excellent film build to all kind of water- borne system, spatter resistance, improved leveling & improved gloss level, excellent flexibility of use. Coapur™ 3020 is used in interior and exterior wall paints, protective and textured coatings. Recommended dosage level ranges between 0.5-1.5% depending on the rheological profile of the co-thickener, when used in combination, or 1-3% when used as a sole thickener.
