CLiQFLOW® 601

Activated smectite clay. CLiQFLOW® 601 acts as a rheological additive for aqueous systems. The beneficial and activated clay provides structure and low- and mid shear viscosity to aqueous systems. It improves sag resistance, prevents settling of pigments and fillers in liquid, pasty aqueous paints. Moreover, it is best used in systems with a pH between 6 and 12. In higher pH systems it will not develop its rheological active structure. It requires shear and dwell for activation. Used in latex paints.
