Hostavin® PR-31 P

Hostavin® PR-31 P by Clariant is a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) with a UV absorber functionality. It is characterized by its excellent efficiency and its ability to be fixed into the binder or the polymer matrix during UV exposure. It is a low migration photo-graftable grade with high mobility in melt phase. Hostavin® PR-31 P is recommended in all kind of coatings, air drying and stoving enamels. Recommended dosage should not exceed 1.5% of active stabilizer on solid resins. In clear coats, a combination from Hostavin® PR-31 P and a UV absorber like Hostavin® 3310 is recommended. It has a minimum shelf life of 3 years.
