Emulsogen® EPN 118 by Clariant is a preservative-free, low-VOC, non-ionic emulsifier. It is used in polymerization of vinyl acetate together with other vinyl esters, acrylates, vinyl chloride and ethylene for acrylic and styrene/acrylic dispersions and butadiene/styrene latex. This APEO-free & FDA approved product reduces coagulation and improves electrolyte resistance and freeze/thaw stability. It maintains low viscosity of polymer emulsion at different shear rates. The shelf life of Emulsogen® EPN 118 is 730 days.
