Dispersogen® C 4020

Dispersogen® C 4020 by Clariant is an anionic, low VOC, modified polycarboxylate in aqueous solution. Acts as a polymeric dispersing agent. It is free of hazard labels, solvents, alkylphenol ethoxylates and nonylphenol (APEO/NPEO). Compatible with water-borne acrylic binder, alkyd resins, polyurethanes (PU) and epoxy resins. It is soluble in water & insoluble in ethanol, 1-butanol, butyl glycol and dibasic ester. Also insoluble in methoxypropyl acetate (MPA), butyl acetate, xylene and white spirit. Suitable for water-borne and resin-free pigment preparations. Designed for inorganic pigments like titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, talcum, china clay, iron oxide pigments, gypsum and cement. Complies with REACH (Europe) and NZIOC (New Zealand) regulations. Conforms to German Blue Angel (RAL UZ 102:2015) for lacquers & indoor paints, Scandinavian Nordic Swan (version 3.0, 2015) and European Ecoflower (2014/312/EC). Recommended dosage on inorganic pigments is between 1-5%. Shelf life of Dispersogen® C 4020 is 2 years.
