Starch polymer. Acts as a rheology modifier, structurant and binder. Is developed specifically to help coated paper and coated paperboard producers lower their manufacturing costs with no sacrifice in output quality. The very nature of STRUCTURECOTE adds value because they are ready for use liquid polymers. In practice, they will simplify coating preparation, free up manpower, reduce energy costs and house cleaning, preclude the need for secondary biocides, thus making them very cost effective. As a final point, STRUCTURECOTE starches can be used as economical extenders for protein, casein, or expensive additives that impart cationicity to coating colors.
