Solutions of high molecular weight block copolymers with pigment affinic groups. Acts as a wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne systems and pigment concentrates. Deflocculates pigments and stabilize them through steric hindrance. Provides an equal charge of the pigment particles. Offers increased gloss, color strength, transparency and hiding power. Possesses a strong settling tendency. Exhibits reduced millbase viscosity. Used in pigment concentrates, and in coil coatings.
