DISPERBYK® -140

Solution of alkyl-ammonium salt of an acidic polymer. Acts as a wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-borne systems. Provides electrical charge to pigments. Offers improved color strength and high gloss. Reduces viscosity and provides improved levelling and higher pigment loading. Increases transparency and hiding power of the pigments. Displays very good compatibility with all common paint binders. Possesses an influence on the paint adhesion on steel substrates, in baking enamels. Deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization of the pigments. Used in architectural, industrial, wood and furniture coatings, automotive refinish and pigment concentrates.
