DISPERBYK® -106

Salt of a polymer with acidic groups. Acts as a wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-borne and solvent-free systems. Offers high gloss levels and improved color strength. Exhibits reduced viscosity and low odor. Provides improved leveling and high pigment loading. Increases hiding power and transparency. Shows good results in dispersion especially of transparent and opaque inorganic pigments and treated phthalocyanine pigments. Prevents post-gellation of pastes during storage. Also shows a universal compatibility with binders of different polarity. Used in architectural coatings, industrial coatings, wood and furniture coatings and solvent-borne pigment concentrates.
